Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. The negativity-spreading Imposter, peering over your shoulder to give you unsolicited advice. “Don’t post that, it’s not good enough!” “No idea why you have been asked to do that. There must have been a mistake?” “You don’t really deserve that, you’re not good enough for it.” Who is that awfully toxic person I hear you ask? Oh, that’s just me. If this was another person, however, I’d be telling them exactly where to go. So why would I allow myself to speak to myself this way?

I was recently contacted by Thrive just before their official launch to test out a bottle of 500mg strength ‘Kickstarter’ CBD oil. I hadn’t tried CBD oil previously but had been curious for a while about the benefits I’d seen others experience. After doing a bit of snooping into the brand, I actually felt oddly comforted by how lovely their branding was. It didn’t follow the usual green bottle brands I had seen and the information was displayed in a way that was easy to digest. Something that became even more evident when I received the delivery and got hold of the lovely packaging.

I was recently invited to take part in a cocktail masterclass with Broad Street's Grosvenor Casino to try out their new After Dark Cocktail menu. Being a keen cocktail drinker myself I was excited! Actually, I was intrigued to see how Grosvenor Casino's bar would compare to a standard drinks venue. So after walking down the stairs to enter the casino, I was surprised to see how big the venue was. Even more so when I noticed how spacious the bar alone was, making me wonder why I hadn't been here sooner! After taking a look at the cocktail menu and spotting a new caramel take on my favourite, the Old Fashioned. I was excited to get involved and make my own.

There's something satisfying about saving money, even if it's only a pound or two. Taking away that purchase for a discounted price just feels like an accomplishment. If you can go home with the same item, but for a lower price, then why not? I know sometimes, I question myself whether to even make an order if there's not a discount involved! It's a little cheeky I know, but all of those extra pounds you've saved all add up! I thought I would share a few of my money saving tips, especially with Black Friday and Cyber Monday on the horizon!

Well, this is definitely something a little more out of my comfort zone. A personal post about my body confidence, being myself and accepting my quirks. I can definitely feel a tugging force, pulling my cards back close to my chest. I have always been myself online, I enjoy sharing what I love! However, I have always found it a little hard to delve in a bit deeper. Discussing things that weren't always that comfortable was a struggle for me. But if there's one thing I've learnt this year, it's how important it is to love yourself. The realisation of this is something that has really taken effect on my life recently and has dramatically improved so many factors. Maybe it's something I've grown into with age, or maybe I have just stopped caring about the silly things? Either way, I feel a lot better for it and just wanted to share my experience so far.
