Lighter evenings and thinner coats, Spring is officially here! One of my favourite things about this time of year is being blessed with those lighter evenings again. All the more reason to spend those hours after work out and about enjoying yourself. I know I'm going to be saying goodbye to my dressing gown evenings! Of course, this means preparing your everyday outfits for the occasional spontaneity. Finding that perfect in-between outfit to take you from work chic to social butterfly.

That feeling when you get back from work, immediately fling-off your clothes and get straight into your favourite loungewear. I don't know about you, but I am a girl of comfort. I like to feel free, relaxed, comfortable. If I'm not leaving the house, you can guarantee I won't be getting dressed up. Bra off, hair up, makeup removed - the just-got-home ritual. Sometimes you just want to feel that extra bit of comfort outside of the house, without having to compromise on style.

There's something satisfying about saving money, even if it's only a pound or two. Taking away that purchase for a discounted price just feels like an accomplishment. If you can go home with the same item, but for a lower price, then why not? I know sometimes, I question myself whether to even make an order if there's not a discount involved! It's a little cheeky I know, but all of those extra pounds you've saved all add up! I thought I would share a few of my money saving tips, especially with Black Friday and Cyber Monday on the horizon!

After moving to Birmingham City Centre, I became pretty lazy when it came to shopping. I walk through the centre daily, so the thought of shopping there never really appealed to me. Online shopping became my go-to, yet so did the returns counter. So much so, I actually became a regular and made friends with a lovely lady at a Doddle stand. Safe to say, online shopping hadn't always been successful and shopping for myself was losing its enjoyment. So when intu Merry Hill invited me along on a shopping trip, the process of actually planning a day out to shop and treat myself felt exciting!

Despite being born in 1990, I have always had a soft spot for everything 80s. The music, the movies, the fashion - I just love it. Over the past couple of years, I've noticed a heavy revamp of these things coming back around. Especially with the likes of Stranger Things (the love is real), remakes like IT and 80s inspired movie soundtracks hitting our screens. We saw oversized denim jackets and mom jeans making the rounds through shops over and over again. As great as this was, I still found myself pining over the AMAZING wardrobe of Pretty in Pink's Duckie Dale. Honestly, this is more than likely where my forever-love for bolo neck ties came from.

This week, I have pretty much tortured myself. Let's be honest, it's coat weather. BUT, I have lots of new cute rust-coloured blouses to wear first. I may have had my brolly dramatically ripped inside out, leaving a giant hole and metal stuck to my hair the other day but I'm still not having it. I've taken to wearing a scarf out instead. Guiltily sneaking out the door in the morning, avoiding looking at my rows of coats in the buttons. Don't get me wrong, I love getting cosy. Autumn is my absolute favourite! I'm just not sure that I'm ready to be cold yet (yeah I know, not wearing a coat does that too).
